Staying ahead of a potential crisis is what Edelman does best! While a part of the New Business design studio I was able to spearhead design and production to acquire Foursquare as a client.

  • Ahead of Foursquare's Request for Proposal (RFP), proactive measures were taken to address potential challenges. An initial discussion with the Account Lead sought to understand the overarching strategy for a pitch with a looming two-week deadline. Subsequently, a collaborative brainstorming session was initiated to conceptualize key deliverables, and meticulous coordination was undertaken to refine the details surrounding the upcoming presentation. In an effort to gain a deeper understanding of the client's expectations and preferences, dedicated research was conducted to gather valuable insights into Foursquare's visual identity. These preemptive efforts aimed to ensure a strategic and well-informed approach to the RFP, aligning our proposal with Foursquare's specific needs and visual preferences.

  • Our solution to the Foursquare Request for Proposal (RFP) involved a comprehensive approach to effectively communicate and embody Foursquare's brand identity while addressing the specific issue at hand. We meticulously gathered relevant material and visuals to ensure a reflective representation. A tailored presentation deck was then developed for the Account Lead, offering a comprehensive overview of our proposal. To enhance the tangible impact of our response, we took the initiative to print and produce 25 custom handcrafted books in-house. These personalized books served as a distinctive and thoughtful leave-behind for the client, reinforcing our commitment to delivering a uniquely tailored solution that not only addressed their concerns but also left a lasting impression.

  • The outcomes of the Foursquare Request for Proposal (RFP) were marked by successful coordination with the Account Lead to maintain consistency between the presentation and the accompanying handcrafted books. To meet the tight presentation deadline, we prioritized the expedited production and delivery of the books to the Account Lead. The client's response was overwhelmingly positive, expressing admiration for both the comprehensive presentation and the thoughtful leave-behind. Recognizing the strategic value in our approach, Foursquare made the decision to partner with Edelman, underscoring our ability to provide solutions that not only impressed but also positioned them strategically to navigate potential crises effectively.
